Edgewater is situated on the edge of Lake Wanaka within the boutique township of Wanaka.

Queenstown is nestled on the shores of Lake Wakatipu and is surrounded by majestic mountains, which are snow capped in the winter, and spectacular scenery. Queenstown is also the international gateway to the region as Queenstown Airport welcomes flights from the east coast of Australia and offers many domestic connections.
Queenstown is only 1 hours drive from Wanaka over the most direct route, the Crown Range.
Alternatively travelling from Wanaka to Queenstown via Cromwell takes only 20-30 minutes longer but you can stop off the Cromwell area to visit wineries or taste the freshest fruits from the nearby orchards.
In winter you may want to pepper your Wanaka ski experiences with a day or two at Coronet Peak or The Remarkables. Year round the views from Skyline Skyrides are a photographers' delight or you may want to spend time on the rivers and lakes or exploring the many cycling and trekking trails.
