Dairy Holdings Limited had the privilege of being able to hold its annual conference at the Edgewater Hotel on 26 June 2015 to 28 June 2015.
Our conference involved two days of presentations in the hotel’s conference facilities with up to 185 conference attendees. Throughout the two days, all meals and morning and afternoon teas were provided by the Edgewater Hotel.
It has become increasingly difficult for an organisation the size of Dairy Holdings Limited to be able to hold its annual conference within one venue that can provide the conference facilities to meet our catering and accommodation requirements. The Edgewater Hotel facilities were ideal in this regards and we found the staff and management pleasant, helpful and always willing to please.
We would have no hesitations in going back to the Edgewater Hotel in future. Colin Glass, Chief Executive.

Laverty Family Reunion - October 2014
The evening was a great success with two generations pleased to meet up again and a third generation in some cases meeting for the first time.
The food was excellent- the chocolates quite remarkable. We were looked after very well by your friendly staff, and there were many comments about the venue.It was such a pleasant setting.

Roxburgh Event - 6 September 2014
We were delighted with the setting and the newly refurbished Pavilion. It was elegant, private and suited to meeting and greeting as well as dining. As it was still daylight outside we had a splendid view of the trees, the Lake and the mountains and as darkness came the lights made it magical. The room was warm and well lit.
The meal was absolutely delicious. Everything was enjoyed and it all looked and tasted as good as it looked. All my guests commented on the food several times. The meats, salads and the desserts are perfect. The Ham was very juicy and particularly good. Personally the Chocolate Mousse I thought was to die for!
Your staff were helpful and got into the spirit of things and were obliging when we needed some changes. They remained polite to the end.
The Table settings were great with the black alternating with the white and the orchids in the centre of the tables provided all that was needed and looked very special. It was good to be able to move around between tables as we had several generations present and many family members had not met before.

We were all very impressed with our whole experience staying with Edgewater, the food was amazing and all the accommodation and meal staff were so co-operative and had great communication,
Also with people puling out at last minute and being very stressful for us organising it, your team were terrific to deal with and anything we had to change seemed no problem at all, I would also like to thank you for the special consideration you gave to our gluten free guests.

Every aspect of our experience was exceptional. All facets of our stay, including the Conference facilities, food and accommodation, were outstanding. What was quoted to me, both in terms of cost and actual product was delivered without fail. I have had an overwhelming amount of positive feedback from both our staff and our guests.

The Edgewater Hotel Staff were very accommodating, communicated and worked in well with the timing of procedures throughout the evening. It is reassuring to have a duty manager on deck who knows the IT requirements to get the laptop hooked correctly with the projector.
I look forward to working with Edgewater Hotel again.
New Zealand Community Boards Conference - 9-11 May 2013
Thank you and your team for working so hard towards the success of the Community Boards Conference. We had great feedback from the delegates and client alike.
The functions ran smoothly thanks to Superwoman Gaynor, Hannah and Callum. The conference dinner was particularly impressive getting that many peeps fed and tables all tidy by 9pm.
Special thanks to your team at the front desk who worked patiently with us on Thursday night with cancellations and late arrivals. And kept us in the loop throughout with updates.

Yoga Retreat - Autumn 2013
Thank you! to Hayley and the team at Edgewater for providing such a wonderful venue and service for my Autumn Yoga Retreat. All participants found the resort completely met their expectations for a luxurious weekend of rest and relaxation. The food was fabulous and the setting just perfect with the still water and autumn leaves. We are all looking forward to coming back again.
