A mid-week wedding is a wonderful option for those of you who may wish to have a smaller wedding and prefer to have your special day during the week, rather than over a weekend. 

The benefits to hosting a mid-week wedding at Edgewater are many, especially the discounted pricing options – meaning your dream wedding on the shores of Lake Wanaka is even more affordable.

Our mid-week weddings run from Monday-Thursday and are for wedding party sizes of 25-75. Please note we can cater for larger mid week weddings. Contact our Wedding Coordinator who will be able to discuss pricing with you.

the venue

Our stunning Pavilion (which easily accommodates 75 guests) has been discounted by approximately 30%, at a cost to you of just $1225.

These prices are current for the 2013-2014 wedding season.

menu options

We offer two delicious menus.

Option 1: A set buffet for just $60 per person, including all of the following:
freshly baked ciabatta bread platter (buffet)
mixed lettuce salad with greens and red wine dressing
roast root vegetable salad with fresh basil pesto
steamed seasonal vegetables with herb butter
roast gourmet potatoes with rosemary
dukkah spiced boneless chicken wrapped in streaky bacon
honey and mustard glazed champagne ham (freshly carved)
mini pavlovas with chantilly cream
berry and vanilla compote
dark chocolate mousse
tea and coffee
 
Option 2:  A plated menu for just $70 per person, including:
a soup or bread and dips
one main of your choice
one dessert of your choice
tea and coffee
 
Please note, canapés are additional and are charged at an extra $12 per person.  This includes three canapé options.

These prices are current at the time of printing, however may be subject to change due to product price increases beyond our control – final pricing will be confirmed by our Wedding Coordinator 60 days prior to your wedding.

There is a full bar at Edgewater and we offer an extensive selection of beer, wines and non alcoholic beverages. Our beverage menu changes seasonally. Please ask our Wedding Coordinator to send you a copy of our current beverage menu.

guest accommodation

We extend a special wedding guest accommodation rate to all our wedding parties*. Please contact our Weddings Coordinator to find out more about your wedding accommodation.

If you choose Edgewater, Lake Wanaka as your wedding venue, we would be delighted to offer a deluxe suite for the bride and groom on your wedding night* as our gift, including breakfast the next day.

 * Our wedding packages are based upon a minimum of 40 adult guests
