We're all in countdown mode for Santa's arrival, with just over a week to go. We wish you a happy and safe Christmas & New Year festive season and look forward to seeing you again in 2015.
This New Year holiday period Cardrona is opening up for guests to access a variety of fun, alpine mountain biking trails.
For 10 days from 27th -31st December and from 3rd – 7th January the Whitestar chairlift will operate from 10am-4pm. A day lift pass will be $40 for adults and children (17 years and under) $30 and these passes can be purchased from the on-mountain guest services building.

For many businesses and organisations planning is already underway for meetings or conferencing in 2015. Edgewater’s lakefront location and tranquil environment is ideal for executive meetings of up to 16 delegates or larger gatherings of up to 120 delegates.
In November Edgewater hosted the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand. Here is just a little of what they had to say about us. “We found you all so welcoming and obliging, nothing was ever a problem. Your pre-planning and attention to all of our requirements was excellent and we are most grateful for all you did to ensure everything went smoothly from the venue and accommodation perspective”. During the summer Treble Cone will be developing arguably the region’s most scenic café location – at the top of Home Basin. From this location skiers and riders can refuel before heading back to the Saddle Basin.
They’ll also be undertaking extensive earthworks which will provide winter skiers with new intermediate trails in the Saddle Basin.
Recently, Treble Cone was announced as the winner of New Zealand’s Best Ski Resort award for the second consecutive year at the 2nd World Ski Awards held in Kitzbuhel, Austria.
Treble Cone is targeting a 2015 opening date of 25 June.
