Duty Manager

Edgewater is seeking the services of an experienced hospitality professional.

This role will require the successful applicant to be very versatile and have the necessary skill set to oversee all hotel operations during day and evening hours. This is a multifaceted role involving front desk, administration, restaurant, bar, security and cleaning tasks.  

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in front desk and food and beverage operations. Having completed any qualifications in Hospitality or Hotel management and a current Manager’s Certificate will be advantageous to the applicant.

A rare opportunity has become available for an experienced & skilled Sous chef in Wanaka’s leading hotel kitchen at Edgewater.  You will be working & leading a professional brigade of chef’s in a state of the art brand new kitchen employing modern cooking techniques.

Strong leadership skills & extensive knowledge of modern cooking is required along with previous experience in quality restaurants or a 4 star plus hotel setting & passion for food & commitment to delivering a great guest experience every time.
