Doors Re-open at Edgewater Following Lockdown
Edgewater is again welcoming guests and visitors after being closed during the New Zealand Government imposed Alert Levels 4 & 3 lockdown.
We are fortunate at Edgewater to be spaciously situated on 10 acres of land, right on the edge of Lake Wanaka. The hotel design and layout gives you plenty of space to move around the hotel and grounds safely. There are no lifts at the hotel.
We have implemented Government prescribed physical distancing directives, including spacing-out tables in our restaurant, single servers to your table, a contact-less tracing system for visitors to the restaurant and limiting restaurant bookings to a maximum of 10 guests in any one ‘bubble’.
The robust cleaning procedures and liberal supplies of hand sanitisers, which we put in place prior to the lock down, will continue.
At this level Elements Day Spa and the sauna and spa facilities are unavailable. Our weddings, meetings and conference team can enable your gathering, provided it is 10 guests or less. Mountain bikes are available for hire but will be cleaned thoroughly before use.
We are excited to be open and once again sharing our warm Southern charm with you.
We all look forward to seeing you soon.
