Edgewater Re-opens, Intially for Takeways
Edgewater Responds to Alert Level 3
Further to NZ Government advice, effective from today (Tuesday 05th May) Edgewater will open, in a limited manner, to allow for contact less takeaways. We will operate in this way until we move to Level 2, which is indicated to be from 12 May 2020. Please find our takeaway menu and order details here for your contact less purchase.
During the lockdown period myself and my team have been working hard on how we can re-open the hotel for accommodation safely, taking into account Government advice about social distancing and limited numbers of guests at one function.
Please be assured that we have plans for safe distances at the hotel, especially in the dining areas. The spacious nature of the hotel, combined with no lifts at the property assist with keeping social distances throughout.
Our reservations team continue to work from home taking your reservations for future stays at Edgewater. We have a very flexible cancellation policy so you can make a booking with the assurance that should the Alert Levels change we will cancel or amend your reservation with no penalty.
We are encouraged that our nearby ski areas of Cardrona and Treble Cone have publicly announced they are endeavouring to open this season. Their staff have commenced work on the ski areas to get the mountains ready for the season ahead. We are looking forward to a winter ski season in Wanaka.
Thank you for your patience during this very difficult time. We look forward to welcoming you to Edgewater in the near future.
