Red Bull Defiance combines off road running, kayaking and mountain bike endurance disciplines, with the creative element of undisclosed special stages. Designed by Braden Currie, New Zealand’s foremost adventure and multi-sport racer, the course has been designed to test athletes over two challenging days, racing alongside the world’s best multi-sport and endurance athletes.
For the first time since the event began the finish line will be on the pristine lawns at Edgewater - Lake Wanaka. In fact we're the race HQ for the duration of the event.
