Edgewater Awarded Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence
Wanaka’s only accommodation situated directly on the shores of Lake Wanaka, Edgewater, has recently been awarded the Trip Advisor® 2016 Certificate of Excellence.
The accolade is awarded to hospitality businesses that have earned great traveller reviews on Trip Advisor over the past year.
“During the last year all of our guest rooms have been refurbished. These rooms have been well received by our guests and contributed to positive guest feedback”, says General Manager Mike Barton.
New Zealand’s official quality assurance organisation, Qualmark New Zealand increased Edgewater’s grade from four star to four star plus during their recent assessment, due largely to the investment in the guest room refurbishment programme.
The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
