DAY TWO – Wānaka

This morning enjoy free time in the heart of Wānaka. Enjoy a stroll from Edgewater around the lake-edge, taking around 15 minutes, into the ‘downtown’ area.  Boutique shops, quaint art galleries or simply soak up the vibrancy and beauty around the lakefront.

The island of Mou Waho reveals its secret to you this afternoon.  Join Eco Wanaka on their Lake Wānaka Cruise and Island Nature Walk Tour starting at 1.30pm. Mou Waho is a nature reserve on Lake Wānaka. It is predator free and home to the rare flightless Bluff Weka. A guided one hour walk includes afternoon tea complemented by the most amazing view. Before departing plant a native tree, a small token of appreciation to the environment.  Return approximately 5.00pm-5.30pm.

Enjoy dinner at Edgewater and stay overnight.
