Are you a hospitality enthusiast with a passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences? We're looking for a talented Guest Service Agent to join the Front Office team at Edgewater Lake Wānaka.

At Edgewater Lake Wānaka, we believe in providing our guests with more than just a stay – we offer a journey of relaxation, adventure, and a moment of peace and quiet. As a Guest Service Agent, you'll be at the forefront of this mission, ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and outstanding service from the moment they arrive.

The position is full-time, working 30 hours a week, and requires you to work weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will have reception experience, strong computer skills, and ideally will have experience using Opera Cloud or a similar CRM system. You would have strong attention to detail, a can-do attitude, and be a fast learner.

Join Our Team as a Chef!

Are you a chef who’s passionate about creating locally and sustainably sourced dishes in a breathtaking setting? Edgewater Lake Wānaka is on the lookout for an exceptional Chef to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis.

As well as being a Hotel and Restaurant, we are also a fully catered Weddings and Events Venue. We keep things fresh and sustainable by changing our menus every three months to use what local produce is in season and create custom menus for guests, weddings, and events. Located in the heart of stunning Lake Wānaka, Edgewater offers a unique opportunity to work in a stunning mountain town while showcasing your culinary expertise. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, values creativity, and desires a flexible schedule, this could be the perfect role for you!

This position is full-time, working 3.5 days a week (30 – 40 hours), and requires you to be available for both weekends and public holidays. We offer flexible hours, with a mix of morning, day and evening shifts. Plus, weekend work allows you to hit the mountains or the bike park during the quieter weekdays. The ideal candidate will have at least one year’s experience, strong attention to detail, a can-do attitude, and be a fast learner.
