Guest Service Agent – Front Desk

As a Guest Service Agent, you’ll be the first point of contact at the front desk, creating warm welcomes, smooth departures, and memorable stays for our guests.

The position is full-time, working 32 hours a week: shifts are either 6:30am–3:00pm, 9:30am–6:00pm, or 1:00pm–9:30pm, with 10:00pm being the latest finish. Working Weekends & Public Holidays are required. There are opportunities to cross-train in other departments, working alongside like-minded professionals in a supportive team environment.

As well as being a Hotel and Restaurant, we are also a fully catered Weddings and Events Venue. We keep things fresh and sustainable by changing our menus every three months to use what local produce is in season and create custom menus for guests, weddings, and events. Located in the heart of stunning Lake Wānaka, Edgewater offers a unique opportunity to work in a stunning mountain town while showcasing your culinary expertise. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, values creativity, and desires a flexible schedule, this could be the perfect role for you!

This position is full-time, working 3.5 days a week (30 – 40 hours), and requires you to be available for both weekends and public holidays. We offer flexible hours, with a mix of morning, day and evening shifts. Plus, weekend work allows you to hit the mountains or the bike park during the quieter weekdays. The ideal candidate will have at least one year’s experience, strong attention to detail, a can-do attitude, and be a fast learner.
