Part-Time Porter Positions Available!

Are you a hospitality enthusiast with a passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences? We're looking for part-time Porters to join the Front Office team at Edgewater Lake Wānaka.

At Edgewater Lake Wānaka, we believe in providing our guests with more than just a stay – we offer a journey of relaxation, adventure, and a moment of peace and quiet. As a Porter, you'll be at the forefront of this mission. This position consists of but not limited to:

helping guests with luggage, keeping the exterior of the hotel tidy, helping with the setup and pack down of events, lending a hand to different departments when required, delivering room service, rubbish/recycling management, hot tub testing, bike hire and offering exceptional customer service to guests from the moment they arrive. 

The positions are part-time, one is Saturday and Sunday 7.30am - 4pm ,15 hours minimum per week. The other position is Saturday and Sunday 2pm – 10pm with other shifts available up to 30 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will need to be physically fit (as this position requires lifting), have a clean drivers licence, and previous Porter experience is preferred, but not required. You would be reliable, have strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude. You must be able to work the Christmas and New Year period.
